Zealous for Christ - Actively Serving - Reaching the Next Generation

The Zoomers Ministry is designed for people 50+ to encourage us to remain vital in our faith and service. These years are a time for us to use all that the Lord has taught us, a time to follow our passion in ministry and use the skills and abilities sharpened over the years.  A wonderful Biblical example is Caleb who, at age 85, was making plans for the future and could confidently say, I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly. (Joshua 14:8b NIV)

Zoomers Serving in the Church, Community, and World.

The Zoomers Ministry focuses on serving throughout all ministries of The Journey Church, impacting our local community and recognizing opportunities throughout the world.  We do not do ministry set apart as a 50+ group but will serve with the entire church family intergenerationally. 

ZOOMERS serving ZOOMERS

Connecting: Welcoming and getting to know Zoomers who walk through our doors, and encouraging them to attend Discover the Journey to help them understand the vision of The Journey Church and connect to their "sweet spot" in ministry. 

Caring: Praying for and visiting those who are in the hopsital or nursing home and responding to urgent or unique needs of Zoomers

Celebrating: Meeting together once each month at Celebration Events designed to help us get to know one another, enjoy working and serving together, and celebrate what God is doing.
